Leaky truffles

Hi everyone. I've had 50g of vaccum packed truffles for a couple of months sitting in a drawer at room temperature. I've just noticed that they have started to leak a little in the vaccum pack and one or two look a little mouldy. Do you think they will still be safe to consume, ie if they have gone off will they now potentially be harmfull? And most importantly... should they still be potent? :D thanks

Hi cannon420,

Vacuum packed truffles should be able to survive 1 month outside of the fridge. They are NOT SAFE TO CONSUME! You can get vreally sick if you eat spoiled truffles.
